Yes, Yahoo sets this, I think after you post 2-3 approved messages, you are no longer moderated.
It is a spam control thing, I wish I did not have to do it, but the spam was out of control.

I'm the owner of a group for a High school class reuinon. I keep getting request to join via email. Almost every time when I email back to find out why their interst, the email comes back as invalid email address.
