I can confirm that the Caller Display ID is now working correctly.
It is a pity that it has taken Vonage so long to rectify this problem.
Lets hope that this is a permanent Fix to the problem.

Although Caller Display is now working in most cases, if a number is diverted from another Vonage number to a Vongage number, it puts an extra zero in front.

Can you take this up, Kerry? Or do I have to report it through customer services (which can take a long time Sad )?

This is also a known problem. Unfortunately the fix is much more complicated than the "bug" associated with the double zeros.

The solution to the "extra" zero has been built into a future software release but I don't have a fixed date for this.

Sorry I can't be more helpful on this one. So no need to ring customer service!

The problem of Extra 00 Digits being displayed on incoming Caller Display is still happening , but NOT every call.
It seems to occur more often when calls are from a Mobile Number, but I have have seen lots of Local Numbers being displayed with the extra 00 digits.
I think that it is happening with approximately 10% of my incoming calls.

Is there any hope that Vonage UK will track down the problem, or is it going to be an Ongoing Problem??

IS no one else is seeing this problem in UK, or is Caller Display not treated as a high Priority issue.
Please Can we have a Local Vonage UK technical Support phone number, so that UK customers can talk to someone who understands the UK problems and will respond suitably.
Unfortunately whenever I have contacted the Vonage Tech support, I do Not get any positive answers, just an acknowledgment of the problem without any resolution.
Perhaps I should put my Messages in a Bottle and throw it into the Atlantic Ocean....

Voyager9, I'm still getting this problem. As you say, it's not every call, but it's very annoying as the name doesn't show up on my phone when I receive one of those calls.

Same here - extra 0 occasionally being displayed on incoming caller ID. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. I wonder if it happens if the call gets routed through US servers?

I've also noticed that outbound caller ID is not always sent. Had a call on my mobile from home (Vonage line) this morning with no caller ID.

The caller ID function (inbound and outbound) is still VERY flakey. It's a fundamental part of any telephone service these days, you'd think they'd have got it right by now!
