I have been there and done that at least 30 times! I am running a radio server. It flat out does not work.
I tried with a static ip and a dynamic ip. You will notice under setup for LAN something called lease time. If you dont use a static IP or at least reserve an IP the router will each day dynamically reallocate new IP's for each connection.
I will try again, I promise.
I have not only tried creating the rule under user, I have also tried DMZ, and Custom Port forwarding. What is happening is that then I test the port from an outside port, it can get a response from the port, but when you actually try to connect to port 80 and run the radio station, it will not connect. It is only partially working. |

Hmm.. I'm not sure. Under Lan Clients mines Dynamic. Also I didnt click reserve either. Maybe it won't work in a couple days. who knows I'll just have to find out.
I'm not sure how it works with the radio. I tested mine with uTorrent and it says everything is ok for me. I didnt do anything complicated to get it to work.. didn't enable anything special. Just created that rule.
Have you tried a different port? or are you forced to use that one..
Try this to test: http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port=48737
just change the port to the one you use |

I have tried everything you can think of on two differnet routers. I will try again tonight to see what happens.
I have also gone through it with tech support.
We will see. |
