Been corresponding with DB for about of month regarding the following: Placed a GTC to sell 15 minutes after the ipo opened at 17. Called back about 15 minutes later to cancel the GTC and place a market sell order. Broker put me on hold for over 5 minutes to just cancel the GTC. Why? She had my account on her computer in front of her and 5 minutes to cancel a GTC is unheard of, involves a couple of key strokes. Of course on discussions boards it's now well known DB had a problem cancelling GTCs, but that's their problem not mine. During their delay stock slipped another !/2 point costing me an additional $650 (1300 shares). After much follow up with DB, being told we have to check with a lot of parties in this matter, Vonage and others. Of course this is entirely an internal matter having nothing to do with Vonage or anyone else, it's their screw up. Finally when last speaking with their lawyer saying I would be away for 2 weeks and wanted a response soon I said I thought this was a simple matter and just play back the recording. HE SAID THERE WAS NO RECORDING. WHAT BROKER TRANSACTION IS NOT RECORDED? I told him I recalled hearing the beeps you hear during a recorded conversation and he again said it was not recorded. With that I informed him I was filing a complaint with the SEC and NYSE. Of course DB recorded this conversation, but they are lying. What is DB covering up by lying? Why do they take over a month to respond to simple trading questions? Why do they say they have to contact a bunch of people outside their company for a simple internal operations problem? Something is definitely no kosher here. If other experienced problems with DB cancelling GTC's please post. Thanks in advance.
