Every day for the past week, I've been getting a call from Vonage at 1-866-243-4357 and when I answer nobody is on the line.
Comments/suggestions? |

Just called back. I get the standard Vonage recording (menu options, etc.). |

I've been getting the same calls for 2 weeks now from the same number that you are. No one on the other end when I answer. The ironic thing with me is that I have been trying for weeks now to cancel my Vonage service. I just couldn't take it anymore. I have never been able to get anyone to answer after being on hold numerous times over 45-55 minute each time. So this week I finally gave up after canceling my credit card so V can't charge me for service I can not cancel. I was hoping they were calling me since they can't charge my card and I can cancel that way. But no one is there. I even have the VT2442 packed up and ready to ship back to them. And my V number is forwarded to my landline phone that actually works as advertised I might add. Just one more glitch for a company that can't punch it's way out of a wet paper bag.

The same thing happened to me last night. I talked to a forigen guy and he said they care cutting off people's service. I asked for what. Though he would not answer me.
I got to speak to a supervisor and she said it's because of the trouble ticket that was placed for me for call transfer. When I transfered a call, I would lose my dial tone until the call ended for the people I transferred.
She said they were calling from India and that they were a test call. I said that must stop because I have to be up at 4am. Sup. said they did not look at the time zone and that she was e-mailing that person's manager.
We shall see. |

Thanks for the info. I get annoyed. Yesterday, I received two Vonage calls. I run to the phone to see who's there (don't know if it's the broker with news to buy/sell or jump)! When I check caller ID, it's Vonage again and nobody on the other end. It's getting annoying and I have placed no trouble ticket. |
