Specifying DNS on WRTP54G

Yeah, it was nice when one of them stepped in and cut through some Vonage red tape for someone here.

Thanks NateHoy! Nice guides. Took about 20 hours with the wireless off for the firmware to come through, but it finally upgraded late this afternoon and the "specificy DNS" settings were easy to set in this firmware version. Must have been added after version 1.00.29. Still don't know how I got downgraded or why my ISP is pushing out bad DNS settings. Oh well. No DNS issues problems now on the PCs... just need to give Vonage the real world test to see if that's solely what was causing my delays/choppiness (current test below). My MOPs score is consistently higher.

About InsightBB here in Lexington... my only complaint is they have no competition (dsl here is still slow and expensive) and are therefore not compelled to rollout increased speeds. Even other areas on their network have better speeds. Who knows when we'll get it. Of note though, I talked to of their 2 techs on different days with less than 5 min of hold time. Both were based in this country and were technically competant. Unfortunately, this is becoming rare these days!
