Post subject: New user questions: network setup, router config, etc.
Hi,
I currently have a 3 computer, wired network using a Linksys BEFSR4 Cable/DSL Router with 4 port switch. One of the computers is a web server, so DHCP has been disabled in the router and all the PC's plus the router have static IPs. My understanding is that DHCP must be enabled in order for

2. How would I configure the PC's and the router so that I can use
Vontage
but still maintain the Web Server? I don't care one way or another if the other PCs use dynamic or static IPs, but the Web Server must have one.
3. Can the Linksys router be set to use DHCP, but still use port forwarding? This seems to be the case since
Vontage
requires UDP ports 1650 and 1651 be assigned to the ATA...
