plug the mp3 or U disc into any PC and make Vonage calls! No installation is required! plug in and make calls!! The mp3 or U disc are sound card built-in. Very convenient! When plug out, the mp3 or U disc performs all functions of ordinary mp3 or U disc. Your best choice to make your call easier!

You sir, have a command of the English language worse than the offshore tech support Vonage hires.

Maybe so...... but he can effectively communicate in more than one language.

I would challenge the effective element of that communication. It appears that this was an ad for something, but short of a stealth admin edit, that something eludes me.

I suspect that the poster was trying to sell me an MP3 player with SoftPhone software that worked automatically when the player was connected to a networked computer via a USB port. But I don't know where to buy it, how much it costs or even what it is called.

You got all of that from a non effective post? Question

I would agree that your suspicions are correct because that is the same message I got from the post. He effectively got his message across to you and I but it is lacking vital information (if he is indeed selling them).

It's not so much that I thought it was a great post by Maia, but it was an unnecessary and rude reply by VonageTPA.

haha, I love this forum!! Heat discussion! My English is bad? but I'm the best in my class! For grizzley, thank you for your kind words! For TPA, thank you for your advice, but I expect something more constructive, not just critizesing, I appreciate if you can give me some suggestion on how I can improve this lines. There are more funny English in my website www.toptone.cn, welcome to visit, It's not such a bad idea to view some English with alien flavor, right?

Knowing VonageTPA (via his posts) I think that it was fair to say that his rudeness was a typical response to spam posts. That he chose to focus on the language skills of the poster was not, in my opinion, a personal attack or cultural one, but more an attack on the lack of professionalism of someone attempting to advertise a product.

Was it an incorrect response in a politically correct world? Perhaps, but I think it was borderline and prefer to extend the benefit of the doubt.

This would be correct. After dealing with spam at work throughout the day via e-mail, fax, and phone, the last thing I want to see when I get home is more spam. The original poster's message had that classic spam smell to my nose, so I figured I'd do something different than post the usual big can of spam. Since people didn't like it, here's the spam can for you...
