I need help getting it back. I'm on hold and have been on hold for 20 minutes.

If your account was definitely cancelled, even if in error, you won't be able to do a quick reactivation. Don't waste your time trying - just do what you'd wind up doing anyway, which is to open a new account. MAKE SURE all fees are waived as best you can. Even though I'm not the most complimentary of Vonage CS, they WILL work with you.
Again, you'll have to open a new account and have a MAC swap done from your 'old' account. Also, you can request (demand) that a Team Lead immediately escalate your request (get a ticket #) from 'teamleadreview' to Tier 3/whatever. If you're lucky it'll be done in less than 24 hours, maybe the same day.

Yeah...I had to do what you suggested. I'm hoping that my original number is not reassigned before my ticket hits the tech support people. The thing that burns me is that the number was a port from my 'bell' provider and is a metro line in our area (great for incoming calls for all my friends). They are very hard to come by these days.

Nah, Vonage will not release it for 30 days. You should be OK. |
