Yes, 800 numbers are non-geographic. Callers can access it for free using land line. |

WRONG. Some 800 numbers are limited to certain areas, usually within a state or county. If you are not in that area, you get a message that this number is not available from your area. Most 800 numbers are nationwide, some even worldwide. I have called a few 800 numbers that would not go through because they said I was not in the calling area, although I was, just that my calls appeared to be coming from New Jersey, so they would not go through. |
