hi, i want to transfer my AT&T number to my vonage account, and on their webstie, they say "You have elected to have your old Vonage phone number forwarded to your new Vonage number until the number has been ported"
does that mean anyone calling my AT&T number will be forwarded to my vonage number
or
anyone calling my vonage number will be forwarded to my AT&T number?
also, they say at most 20 business days... could they something screw this up?
(and does anyone have any experiences tranferring a number w/ vonage?)

while number transfer is ongoing...
for more or less 20 days (depending on how fast AT&T, Vonage, and 3rd Verifying Party works well w/ each other)...
- if nonVonage number calls AT&T number, AT&T phone will ring.
- if Vonage number calls AT&T number, Vonage phone will ring.
- if nonVonage / Vonage number calls (free) temporary virtual number, vonage phone will ring
(assuming that there're 2 physical phones...)
1 - connected to AT&T phone port
2 - connected to Vonage phone adapter
