Post subject: Temp. #?
Hi, I have successfully transfered my phone # from Qwest to
Vonage
. What an easy and painless process!!! Thank you!!
Vonage
provided me with a temporary phone # as you know. I was told that the # would just go away when my transfer is complete. It has been over a week since that occured and the temp. # is still here and active. Am I being charged for it? I hope not. It does not show in the list of virtual numbers.

mmm you're not supposed to be billed for that TEMP VIRTUAL NUMBER. It's supposed to be automatically deactivated once number transfer is complete.. If you've already got an email from
VONAGE
that it's indeed complete, then
VONAGE
has done their part...
now about your Virtual number still active.. you might wanna verify w/ your previous/other carrier if your number is disconnected and deleted on their database... (probably it's not because your temp vitrtual number is still there...) or maybe, just simply test the phone connected to the non
VOnage
phone port... when it still has a dial tone... Do something about it...
