Moving from cable to DSL line (Adelphia has been horrible), but will continue to keep the landline in addition to the Vonage line. Getting both phone lines (landline and Vonage) to all the jacks in the house was easy with a cable modem, but I think it's trickier with DSL...or is it? What's the drill to accomplish all this? Having both phone lines at every jack is great, and i don't want to lose it. Thanks. |

How did you do it with the cable setup?
It shouldn't be much different with DSL. You still have the one landline, now a DSL/phone ling, on one of the pairs. The DSL modem plugs into a jack and picks up that pair. The Vonage adapter plugs into the modem and its phone output gets connected to a second pair in the wall jacks. You were doing that before, apparently, and it should be more or less the same now. |
