I've been trying to send faxes from my fax/modem through my Vonage account with only limited result. This doesn't appear to be an oddity since there are 5 pages worth of posts concerning this.
My question is whether the Vonage Fax line for $9.99 per month will actually improve the ability to send and receive faxes.
Does anyone have any experience using the Vonage Fax Line?
Plus, if I transfer my current POTS fax number over, would the price go up from $9.99 to the standard $29.99 per month?

have you tried dialing *99, before the number and bumping your modem's port speed down to 9600?
