I just got Vonage Voip. I already have a WRT54G v1.1 with my portforward stuff. When I install the VT2442 It makes me unplug my computer and make it go through the VT2442. It changes my computers IP to 192.168.15.2. The VT2442 is set to DCHP and it takes 192.168.1.148 from the WRT54G. Now I need the WRT54G for the wireless. Now my ports aren't forwarded. I also thought of switching this computer out with an Xbox 360. I also tried to add a rule for this computer. Any ideas?

Lets see if I've got this right:
ISP/Modem > WRT54G > VT2442 > Computer

You don't have to have your computer plugged into the VT2442. Your ports should still be forwarded unless you deleted your settings on the WRT54G.

Well . . . you say "it makes me unplug my computer and make it go through the VT2442", so I am assuming you mean your network cable is now plugged into the 2442.

So your PC is getting a DHCP lease from the 2442, on the 192.168.15.x subnet. You also say that the 2442 takes 192.168.1.148 from the 54G. I assume that the 2442 is taking 192.168.1.148 as its "public" or WAN address (I know that is not a public IP, but, since the 2442 is inside your 54G, it takes its "public" DHCP address from the 54G DHCP server.

The 2442 is then acting as a DHCP server for the rest of your LAN, using the 192.168.15.x subnet, so everything plugged in "inside" of the 2442 gets and address in that range.

If there is a way to do port forwarding on the 2442 (I don't have one, don't know), then you can forward EVERYTHING on your 54G to the WAN address of the 2442 (192.168.1.148) and then configure the port forwarding on the 2442.

But, there shouldn't be a reason you need your PC plugged into the 2442 -- you should be able to plug the 2442 into a LAN port on the 54G and your PC into another LAN port on the 54G -- then the WAN address on the 2442 will be 192.168.1.x (assigned by DHCP on the 54G) and the address of your PC will be 192.168.1.x (also assigned by DHCP on the 54G) and the port forwarding on the 54G should continue to work, assuming it is forwarding to the CORRECT address assigned to your PC (or whatever you need forwarded TO).
