I have call forward set to 16 seconds then forward
if busy or unanswered for 20 seconds then voice mail
I have found that the call does not always get forwarded and sometimes goes to voice mail.
There is no pattern to this but a lot of calls are not being forwarded
Anyone else have this problem?
I am not using simulring because the calls are going to an answering service |

Try setting a larger difference between the forward & voice mail times. |

What would a larger difference in times do?
If the time hits 16 seconds then it should forward to the call forward number. It should never go to voice mail |

i set the time to
16 seconds then forward
25 seconds then voice mail
but calls are still going to voice mail, they are not always being forwarded
Anyone else experience this? |

one of my vonage lines is set to forward on 1 ring to my cell but i still get calls sent to voice mail every once in a while..
what makes it a hssle is i don't use that vonage phone often so it could be a month before i hear the stutter tone and realize someone left a voicemail a month before... |

I know its not ideal, but wouldn't using the voicemail notification email feature help? You could even have it sent to your cell! |

check if you typed in all the 11 numbers of your cellphone. it should include the prefix 1. it you set it right and calls are not forwarded still, try to disable first the call forwarding and voicemail. save changes then enable them again. give it at least 30 minutes before testing. |
