I should probably post this as a new thread, but I have to say that I am very impressed with Vonage. I am a small business owner & I have had two business lines for about a month now.
I had several questions during purchase/setup & they were handled promptly & professionally. So far the call quality is great.
Not to mention the savings - I will save over $2,000/year in phone bills & I have the added benefit of a bill that I can actually understand! |

Steve48, I have no idea. In all honesty, I don't know how they could possibly work without that configuration. Maybe it has something to do with some network protocol I don't know about being turned off or something. I seem to recall having heard something about home routers having something on them akin to plug&play that allows automatic configuration. I should think the security conscious individual would turn stuff like that off. I'm assuming that's not it though because wengen did reset the devices a few times (if memory serves). |

Can someone enlighten me as to accessing this page? I don't know the username/password for the VT2442.
Thanks |

Those are the defaults so that should work, unless you've change them. |
