My current setup is:

Shaw Cable Modem -> Motorola VT2442 to Phone and PC (Wired)

What I want to do is:
1) Go Wireless
2) Be able to record my phone calls

From what I've read I need to purchase a second router to allow me to record phone calls. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what router would work? Can I get a wireless router with 4 ports on the back & would it solve my problem?

Any info would be much apprciated.

I don't think any router is going to help you record calls. You need to record the calls physically on your telephone connection. I suggest you order a telephone recorder from spyvsspy.com

I should be able to isolate and extract the voice packets. I know there's a way to do it.

There's an article at http://www.baldwintechsolutions.com/record/ that explains it.

You probably want a hub, not a router. Routers use switches which make it difficult to intercept traffic, although it can be done using ARP poisoning.

You can get a hub off Ebay very inexpensively, and you can get Cain, the recording software, for free.

You'll put the hub between the router and your modem and plug the modem and router into it, not changing any settings. You can then set your computer for a Static IP and plug it into the hub. I have been able to intercept data using this method, but for some reason my call recording don't come out acceptable (static-y).
EDIT: I got it perfect recording after switching from the 50kbs setting to the 90kbs setting on the Vonage website.

To add wireless to your network you will need either a wireless router or a wireless access point. You'll still need the hub though.

You can use software recorder. For example, Voip Recorder from Duxoft (http://www.duxoft.com).
It is an application for recording Voip calls (including vonage).

They have demo version, so you can check if calls are recorded before purchasing.

Instructions:
1. Install Voip Recorder onto your PC.
2. Start it, go to configuration dialog and set parameter "Network interface to listen" to network card you use for internet.
3. Make a call from Vonage and see if Voip Recorder can capture it.

In most cases this is enough to record calls.
But if Voip traffic from your Vonage box doesn't reach your PC with Voip Recorder, you need to plug network HUB between them.
Network HUB will duplicate traffic from Vonage box to your PC, so Voip Recorder can capture it and decode.

There is also another small issue you can face. If you see the call is captured, but no voice is there, go to settings of your Vonage box and change parameter "bandwidth saver" to "higher bandwidth".
This is neccessary because Vonage can use codec G.722, which is not supported by Voip Recorder yet.
"Higher bandwidth" option means to use G.711 codec, which is supported by Voip Recorder.

Anybody else thinking SPAM!? As of now 3 posts all copied and pasted about Duxoft...
