Post subject: CANON D-780 MF and receiving faxes problems
I have been using my
Vonage
fax line with my Canon D-780 Imageclass multifunction machine for the last 6 months. My business involves heavy faxing both ways. Recently, I have been unable to receive any fax, or at best the first page only. Sending is no problem. I read all of the postings and disconnected ECM and set a manual receive rate of 9600 baud to no avail. I even asked a friend to send a fax with the *99 prefix before my number. Today, I had 4 phone calls about my fax machine. Any advice would be appreciated.

Please look in the
Voip
forum and post the technical details listed in the sticky post at the top of that forum. It could be that something has happened to the quality of your
Voip
service and that it's causing your problem. Have you plugged a phone into the FAX line and tried a few calls to see how it sounds?
If it's possible, you might also want to take your FAX machine somewhere and try it out on another line. It's always possible that something has gone wrong with it.
