You also might want to look into IPCop firewalls. They support direct VPN between IPCop systems, almost plug & play. Free too.

I used to use WRT54GS routers everywhere, but have been slowly migrating over to IPCop for everything. I still think the WRT54GS is a fine router, especially for the price, but it is what it is... and the IPCop firewall can be run on far more powerful processors.
There's a soldier in Iraq who is running his own ISP for his fellow troops, using Smoothwall (what IPCop is based off of) for ~300 customers without a problem. He says he'd run IPCop if he had to do it over again.

Post subject: TAKE ACTION BREAK THE MONOPOLY
hey
we pay high rent
we pay house tax
we pay high living cost, visa fees, tuition ,
WE PAY HIGH INTERNET COST TO USE THE FACILITIES THAT INTERNET PROVIDES US
this action taken by the UAE is not fair , I call out all the
Vonage
user to send letter to US and Canadian Ambassador to pressure the goverment to unblock the
Voip
ports
users in QATAR has succeeded ,the goverment of Qatar allowed
Voip
to be used after US Ambassador discussed this issue with the authorities
if Qatar can do it why not UAE
a person succeed by speaking for himself , teams succeed by standing at once
peace

haha my freind your right, but America doesnt have a base like it has in Qatar. In this country people just go with the flow, nobody wants to stand up and talk n debate..things go the way they have to.anyway guess nothing much is gonna happen about it.

YOU are also violating the
Vonage
ToS by using their service in UAE anyway, so deal.

Well I do agree with YOU that its violating their TOS, but if
Vonage
directly blocked our services, we didnt really mind, but if the ISP is blocking it, in order to get rid of competition, and continue its monopoly, since they are launcing their own
Voip
services by the end of the year, at a much more expensive rate, i think its very UNFAIR deal.
