Post subject: LAN Slowdown after Installation
I am running a small network of computers. I just installed the Linksys
Vonage
phone adapter. I plugged it into my router. The only other thing plugged into the router in a wire between the router and my switch. All 10 of my computers are plugged into the switch.
Since installing
Vonage
, I am noticing network slowdowns when a computer on my network is trying to access files on another one.
Is there anything that can be done about this? Should I plug the
Vonage
box into the switch?
File access speeds are more important to me than
Vonage
service. Thanks!

By all means give it a try. Alternately, try adjusting QoS in the router.
