Post subject: Happy Vonage user
I am so happy with
Vonage
. I am a 50plus age group. My son sat me up with
Vonage
.
I love it. It cut my phone bill over 2/3s. I am on a very limited income.
Secondly I have an elderly mother in the Midwest. That I can now call much More frequently!
He even set up a virtual number from her area code so she can call me for free! It’s a regular phone number not an 800 number so it is not as confuseing for her.
Thank you
Vonage
,

you should work for
vonage
and like post messages on boards telling people how good the service is by your own experance with them. "if they don't have people that do that already" ""or if your not already working for them""

Let me get this straight. Someone who posts on here is legit if they say
Vonage
is bad, but if they are happy with it, then according to you they are a plant for or work for
Vonage
. I don't work for
Vonage
and am definitely not a shill for them, and the service is definitely not perfect, but I am pretty happy with it. But according to you anyone who is happy is, by definition, an agent of the
Vonage
beast. If you have a beef with
Vonage
or don't like it, tell us why, how, and so on so we can be informed. But don't start posting on here effectively slandering someone by accusing them about something which you do not know. Back during the 50s that's exactly what Joe McCarthy did by accusing anyone with a different opinion of being a communist and slandering them.

Im not oging to comet on your entire post because it's just not worth the time. But I did miss the part where I said I was unhappy with the service. As of now I don’t have any complaints worth saying about
vonage
.

Don't ever use the term "according to you" unless if it's truly according to them.
As far as
vonage
being bad, I think it's more like bad for some. It seems to me that upwards to 90% of all problems these
vonage
users are having (posting) are not really problems at all. Just not setting it up right or it not being able to do what it is they want.
Lastly, the only reason that I said anything about this is just the fact that his post did sound like it was cut right out of a magazine ad. Look:
Quote:

Vonage
.
This part shows that the consumer is satisfied. Also, he gives his age as if to say that once setup, it's so easy to use that even he can call at a reduced rate.

This part tells the consumer the amount of money that can be saved using the service.

And here we have the pre-selling of additional services. Also the mentioned 800 availably.
His was a well written post with all positive accounts. And why not, if you enjoy the service it's good to tell others about it.
It looks to me by the way you mis read my post that the only person who did any accusing was you. And since you started your post out with "Let me get this straight.", I hoped that got it straight for you.

I can see some of your reasons for suspicion once you start now citing various reasons. However, virtually none of this was in your post. As you would say, "Dang Dude," you need to go back to school and learn how to express yourself better and be clearer in what you write. It seems pretty straightforward to me, the way you wrote your comments initially, that you were implying that the commentor was either a plant for
Vonage
in liking it or that they are already working for
Vonage
. See your quote below verbatim:
"you should work for
vonage
and like post messages on boards telling people how good the service is by your own experance (sic) with them. "if they don't have people that do that already" ""or if your (sic) not already working for them""
"Or if your (sic) not already working for them"- Sounds like you are very definitely implying to the reader that this was not a legitimate post and merely a
Vonage
post, or alternatively, not genuine.

Post subject: My my my...
Seems to me this thread took a wrong turn somewhere...
Anyway, I'm encouraged to hear someone, um, no offense but in the age group mentioned, say that you enjoy the service.
I have parents-in-law that are in that age group, and they are technically challenged. In fact, they're technically cursed. I don't say this to say that all or even most people in this age group have the same problem with technology, but god bless 'em these people are very hard to help when it comes to introducing a new technology into their lives to help improve it!
Anyway, I'm encouraged to hear you say that you have genuinely embraced what
Vonage
has to offer you as a consumer. I just got my parents-in-law set up with high-speed internet, and once we are positive that the connection will be stable and reliable, I'm hoping to move them over to
Vonage
from Qwest. And we happen to be in the Denver area as well - in fact they're not far from Thornton (they're in the Northglenn/Westminster area).
And no, I don't work for
Vonage
. I'm a musician.
