vonage site blocked

after sitting on hold got through to tech support. After the usual apology they tried to access my account and his computer wouldn't work. Then he couldn't transfer me to a supervisor. Gave me a song and dance that I should call back and get another tech.

When queried 'Is there a problem with your network, so I don't waste my time' the tech REFUSED to answer a yes or no question. Also refused to get out of his seat and ask the supervisor to walk over his phone, since he couldn't transfer calls.

Sounds like they are rebooting their network!

I'm in NJ and same thing, no access to Vonage.com and I lost dial tone. On hold with support now. Their probably getting killed with calls.

I am also in Southern NH and have no servie. Is it only on the East coast, it seems like it from the posts.

A bunch of us are new users, maybe it is a trick from the moderators to get new members on this site Very Happy

ISP is comcast for what it is worth.....

MIght also be a Internet backbone problem. I can't access several other web sites and when doing a tracert connectivity drops at Comcast's demarc to the internet (see below)

I'm also on Comcast and like boeingpilot I ran a trace a while ago and had the same time out after reaching the same hop.
