We think it's wrong that Vonage makes you buy new as well. Maybe if they actually updated their spreadsheets when a customers leaves, they could let that MAC ID be available again. But after all, why not just make more money, instead of provide useful and easy-to-activate service? There's many sellers that aren't aware of the non-reactivation deal, but many others that knowingly sell a waste of blue or black plastic. The ebay guide serves as a warning to potential buyers, and maybe education to potential sellers. No one should fault you for having common sense in thinking you could sell it, but rather fault Vonage for the lack of common sense. |

there is a reactivation of device from vonage.if you had bought a used device from ebay. then you can call customer service and have them do a mac swap for you.they'd hust have to check the old account if there is no outstanding balance so they can do the swap successfully;if account has balance then unless you pay for it they can do the swap. |

Again, I wouldn't trust that supposed policy as far as I could throw it, given we've heard reports of that working, and many more reports of it not working. I'd rather people not waste their money trying to find out. |
