I noticed quite a few people annoyed with Vonage because they cannot use previously used equipment they had purchased off eBay. I thought maybe a well written eBay Guide with the proper tags (vonage, Voip, f1000, etc) could prevent some of these users' problems, and thus frustration with Vonage. Is anybody up to writing a good Vonage hardware guide on eBay? http://reviews.ebay.com/
What does everyone think of this idea? |

I'm not sure of what the value is of having that. Not saying there isn't, I think I just need it explained to me. I'd be more than willing to lend a hand. |

When you do a search for something on eBay, and someone has written a guide with what you searched for as a tag, eBay links to a "Related Guide" on the left-hand side. Here's an example: Search for a dSLR on eBay. On the left-hand side, under "Related Guides" there are guides about dSLRs. If one was to create a guide linked to Vonage, f1000, RTP3000, and PAP2 searches with a title like "Used Vonage Device Warning" hopefully some people considering buying a used device to use with Vonage would be kept from buying something that would turn out to be useless to them. |

Thanks! Hopefully that'll help some people. Do you think this is enough though? Purchasing Used Vona... That's all people can see who search for Vonage. I know what it is so I'll look at it, but what about clueless people? |

Its just bad seeing things like:
| jbl999 wrote: | | I recently discontinued my Vonage service and no longer need this two-line phone adapter. If you are thinking of signing up for Vonage, or adding lines to your Vonage service, this phone adapter will support two phone numbers when plugged into any broadband router. | Its great that you listed all the devices in your article because it turns up for a search of any of them! I would assume that the more votes for the article, the higher it gets on the list, so go vote for it! |

hmm, not a single mention of the most authoritative Vonage website, much less a link.
