Post subject: ?VT1005 setup for rogers cable in Ontario
Can't seem to find any info on VT1005 setup for rogers cable in Ontario. Bell cut off the phone and DSL just as the cable modem was
installed. Bell said I could have the DSL without home phone but their service is slipping. Now I can't call for tech support.
Have configured the adapter for Static IP address xx.xx.xxx.xx
and left the 255.255.255.0 subnet mask. At least I get up to 4 blinks
instead of 2. I'll try disabling the HCPH or whatever and get back online to check for others setup info. The modem is DPX2100.

Got it! Had to reboot the modem to obtain IP address dynamically.
Funny. Worked fine directly connected to the PC.
