Current Setup:
ISP: Charter Communication
3com Surfboard Modem-Linksys BEFSR41 -Moto Adapter-PC

My adapter keeps resetiing and sometimes will flash 4-times continuosly.
The lights on my cable modem show connection but on my computer I can't surf the internet until I reboot the Cable modem and then my adapter will go solid again. This happens at least once a day and somedays more. Today I was aslo on the phone with my wife and I could not hear her for 10 seconds or so then she cam back and said the adapter was flashing while she was on the phone then went solid.

I've never had complete service without reboots for more than two days at a time.

I have cuurent firmware on my Linksys router. I believe that Charter gets its validation from the mac address of the cable modem which is making the IP request and then my router is is also setup for DHCP to assign number to the adapter and the pc.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm getting the "Why did we have to get something new... The old phone worked fine." from my wife

Hi - sorry, I think I just accidentally posted before I was ready. OK - I have this same problem, but don't have a router (at least I don't think I do. Brainless ) I have the Mororola adapter that came in the Vonage-branded box and Charter Pipeline internet service. Any suggestions for me? I called tech support, got India (of course) and they adjusted the sine wave (I think that's what he said) but it didn't help any.
