Post subject: Will my ISP buck?
I have had calls from my ISP in the past if I ran a server on my home computer.... (they don't allow that..) They complaned because a) I was running a server and b) I was doing too much uploading and downloading..
So ok I stopped doing that....
Now that I have my
Vonage
phone connected to my cable modem.. Do you think that the cable company will/can complain?

Correct me please. I do not think a MTA/ATA uses the bandwidth that the Server does.
If Comcast, ask them when they will offer
Voip
, and that should
quiet them for a few.
Just a thought.
