Post subject: Combination phone and fax machine
Hello to all the
Vonage
professionals and technicians out there:
Please advise, I do not want a dedicated fax line, however I would like to use my 'Sharp' combination phone and fax machine which I stored away in the closet when
Vonage
was installed. The phone(all part of the machine) I know I can use but am I able to switch it to fax occasionally when needed, using the same
Vonage
line, no additional line set up for fax. I am on the $20.00 p.m. plan 500 minutes. Thanks for all your help. Pauline. Delta, BC

You should be able to fax on a normal voice line.
This might be of interest. Apparently it is wise to dail *99 before the number for a fax.
