Post subject: Software Library?
Hi.
I want to be able to make phone calls to POTS/PSTN telephones from
within MY C++ application. (Something like softphone does)
I am a
Vonage
phone user....
I have a few questions:
1) Does one do this with SIP or H323.
2) Does
vonage
offer a c++ / Java / C# / C libarary to do this type of thing or does anyone know of a free library for this?
3) Would one connect (TCP/IP) to the VT1005V to do this or to a server at
vonage
?
4) If you connect to the VT1005V to do this? How do you find your VT1005V mac / ethernet address in order to do this?
(My VT1005V is connected to my cable modem and then my firewall/router is connected to the VT1005V... then my computer is connected to the firewall...)

Currently
Vonage
offers no programming API, or access to any of their code from a 3rd party application.
Lame.
