I ruled out the phone software we are using as the cause. Also ruled out things like Trillian and Firefox Beta 2. I got these issues with nothing but a VPN running to my company and the very basic work softwares running. It is basically down to being Vonage itself, my router, my DSL modem or the Vonage adapter.
Well, the tests seem to agree- there shouldn't be anything wrong. I don't know what I'd do in your position at this point. Changing out the PAP2 is certainly an option, but I wouldn't fault a decision to go back to POTS.
Problem with swapping PAP2s is that I am traveling outside of the US for another 2 months and have to be reachable heh. Talked to Tech Support as well which was frustrating to say the least and without any success...

I didn't realize that. Do you have the PAP2 with you? Is it possible that you'll get to try it out using a different internet service?
