Hi, I am thinking of buying this item UTStarcom F1000 WiFi. Do i need a new Vonage number or can i use it with my existing number? Will Vonage let me buy it with out getting a third phone number? Thanks, Damian |

You can get a new number or transfer an existing number to the new device, but you won't be able to use a single number on both the new WiFi phone and the old adapter. |

Thanks! As you know i think asking questions here is much better then waiting to talk to customer service. |

When you say "third phone number" I assume that you already have two. If one is a soft phone already, then you can use that on an unlocked F1000 WiFi phone, but not on one of the Vonage subsidized phones. If both of your existing numbers are on your TA, then you'd need a third number (softphone or new account). |
