My bill just went up. I've always been on the $14.99/500 minutes plan. With taxes, my monthly bill was around $15.85. I got my bill last month, and it was $19 and change. I thought I may have used more than 500 minutes, but instead I see this extra $3 - $4 in 'federal regulatory fees'. When was that announced I'd start paying these crappy-ass fees?
They sent me a letter in the mail stating that my bill may rise because of these fees.

It tried to get my $24.95 plan reduced to $19.95 telling them I was going to leave since I lost $2k on the ipo. They would not do it and if fact I face a $40 penalty if I cancel before my August 16 sign up date. Guess what happens August 17th. They actually are just following the rules they set forth when I signed up, but you think they might throw someone a bone who lost $2k. And I sincerely regret for having paid for my shares.
