Maybe it is not listed, to make it easier for those who are not able to figure out what numbers need 7-10-or 11 digit dialing.
As they learn, they can progress on these own.
It take some people longer to catch on. |

Seven digit dialing has been the one thing holding us back from jumping on board for our primary phone in the house. My wife didn't want to dial the extra numbers.
Does anyone know if this is working in the 512 area code as well? |

7 and 10 digit dialing now working in 310 area code. 10 digit dialing is considerably faster than 7 (ie shorter wait period between end of dialing and beginning of ring tone). |

Working in (703) on an MTA. As far as the delay with 7 digit dialing, A post on broadbandreports.com recommended hittin '#' after dialing and claimed it cut the delay down to about 2 sec. Not sure, it's alittle too late in VA to start testing. If I start ringing the phones and waking the kids my wife'll kill me |

7- and 10-digit dialing work in area code 612. delay at the end of dialing 7 digits is about 6-7 seconds. THANKS, Vonage! Now, if we could only do something about inbound QOS... |

After seeing these posts thought I would give it a try. So dialing in the 425 area code works flawlessly without a delay of more than 2 seconds and without pushing the # key.
Also I watched this vid http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/videos/Vonage.html that mentions several things coming down the pike and was very impressed. We are going to see some very cool stuff over the next 6 months. |

I agree. This upcoming quarter is going to blow our minds in what Vonage is coming up with.
Hazzah for the seven digit dialing. |

So when I first joined there were a couple of things that I really wished I had with my new Vonage service...
1) Caller-Id in my control panel
2) seven digit dialing
I asked for it and Vonage provided! Awesome... can't wait to see what else they have for us.
BTW- Would be nice if they sent out an email saying that something has changed or a new feature is working. Though I like being surprised when I stumble onto something it would be cool if they gave us a heads-up. |
