Im new to Vonage as of last week, and have a question but not sure if someone can help. I also looked around on the forum here and didn't find anything pertaining to the Motorola VT2442.

I have setup 2 lines just fine, everything voice wise and phone calls inbound/outbound work perfect, and tests i have run using the Voip connection says I can handle up to 9 connections at a time.

Type Service - Verizon ADSL
Location - Dallas Texas
ADSL Connection Center = Less than 1 Mile from Main Access Hub

I am running through Verizon ADSL using a Westell DAL Wireless Router which has worked perfect for nearly 2 years. Until I installed the Motorola VT2442 router/voip device i never had any difficulties while being on the phone and surfing the internet (Http).

When I go to place a phone call or talking on the phone, i can then no longer access http access to surf the net or go to any website. However ftp/pop(email) and all other applications work perfect. Services when i hangup the phone go back to normal and all http access goes back to normal.

I have seen similar posts on the forum here but from people who use a RT300 and Linksys Vonage Voip router/device, but not the one I'm using.

Hope someone can help, if needed i do have msn messenger = ascender@jaxair.com or yahoo and aim is = ascender29

I have to say a big Thanks to a new-found-friend who read my post for help here on the vonage-forum and contacted me on AIM to resolve this matter. After much research and time, it came down to just one thing for the solution (Resetting both the ADSL and Vonage Voice Adapter/Routers back to factory defaults).

Thanks to my new friend and to the Vonage Community for such excellent and uinque people in the WORLD!

Where did you go to run such a good test for your Voip? I can't find any good ones that tell you how many lines of Voip I can use.

It's the Vonage Forum Voip test. Look in the upper right corner of your screen for a box labelled "Updated: Voip Test".
