Post subject: Test Call Feature
I know I've seen some tests that have been created to check uplink/downlink speed, jitter and delay but they are not always conclusive.
That is why most in the industry from fixed line, to cellular to
Voip
use Mean Opinion Score tests to gauge the voice quality of a call. In the end it is the preception/opinion of the users and not some numbers from a test that ultimately decide if it's a good call or not.
Skype has a test number (echo123) which allows you to record a short message and have it played back to you. From that you can gauge if the voice quality from either side is good/bad. A simple test that doesn't include having to know all the technical jargon.
So if someone from

is reading this, please consider implementing the a similar test call number/system.
