Slitters can go bad. I have seen it a number of times. Voltage spikes, lightning, etc... I had a brand new one go bad in a week. I replaced it, and this time connected a nice 10ga. ground wire, and had lasted longer. Not sure if that helps, but can't hurt. When you connect your modem and ATA directly to the incoming line, are you dropping calls? If you are not, then obviously something is wrong between the splitter and your wiring to your normal modem location. |
