Post subject: VT2442, volume control and configuration export file
1. Add a volume level setting that can be saved back into the VT2442. This is to avoid the earpiece damaging ear drums! My land lines don't have such volume problem on the SAME phone earpiece.
2. Add an import/export of the configuration to/from a file.
Right now, the pdf manual said this feature is there, but
http://192.168.2.15
shows no such feature in the adaptor's web configuration interface. My VT2442 was received in Jun 2006 with the latest firmware tech support verified.

Control of both inbound and outbound audio levels is something that all of the
Vonage
adapters could use. I am starting to lose count, but I believe I have had direct experience with at least 15
Vonage
adapters, and they have all been too loud on my end.
