I'll be darn -- I'm having the very same experience as Matt. Caught between a rock and a hard place -- you have to cancel AFTER they've already billed you for the additional month (that you don't want)!
I spoke to a woman. After my rants, she noticed that my card runs out at the end of the month and actually told me that was my best way out!
I'll do my best to warn others. Do NOT sign up with Vonage. |
You may find that Vonage will still charge your account even though it expires. I had this experience with another company who just "made up" an expiration date in the future and processed the charge.
The key point you make -- having to cancel after your full one year is up, and AFTER you've paid for the next full month -- is a very bad business practise. Vonage has to fix this... |

Congratulations! Terrific that your problem is solved.
Is this (see below) the executive phone number to call?
1-VONAGE-HELP 1-866-243-4357.
Thanks. |

The number was posted on here yesterday, but it may have been taken off or edited. Anyway, it's 1-888-580-4020. I have no idea where this is listed, but I want to thank whoever posted it yesterday. I would have still been very upset today if I was not given this number. |

Thanks so much for the executive help phone number. I wrote it down in my notebook just in case it disappears again.
This forum is very helpful. Thanks to everyone for his/her comments. |

That accounts management number is the one you sit on hold for over a half hour. Jus a heads up about the executive response team number. Watching TV last night I realized that 888 numbers may all be toll numbers, like 900 numbers. I don't know if this is true, but if it is, they found a way to get more money out of me. |
