I have a new PAP2 router connected to a single phone (REN 0.0). The ringing on the phone starts then stutters. I have tried it on another phone and the same situation arises. The voice quality is excellent, and I have no other problems. Any ideas on a fix? |

why do you think it's a voicemail issue? |

I'm not using the voicemail feature. Its disabled. We're talking about the ring not the dial tone... |

I don't know about the PAP2, but I do know that there are things on other adapters- like the RTP300- that Vonage can change that affect things like this. These are settings that the customer does not have access to. A call to Customer Service may get results. |

It's pointless to contact customer service. I have called over 28 times for different problems. Each time, I have never received any instruction other than unplug and restart. I explain that I have done that already. They insist that I do it a 29th time. I don't think they have any staff that actually knows how to troubleshoot anything! |

I have the same problem, it stutters on the first ring and then continues ringing normally. |
