Should the phone wires not be touching any power cables?

The way I have it now all the wires are tied together with a cable tie. That includes Cat5, phone cord, and a bunch of power cables (most to the big transformer plugs).

Is this possibly hurting sound quality when I'm on the phone?

Does anybody know?

YES, it is probably hurting sound quality. It is a Bad thing to let power and communications cords run in parallel (even within a foot). They can cross each other however. Even though most of your power cables run to low-voltage transformer plugs ("wall warts"), those things are not always manufactured well and can carry some 60 Hertz hum.

Hmmmm. That's crappy. It's going to be hard to fix. All the wires are coming from, and going to the same place.
