2nd line discount NO MORE

I have 2 Vonage lines for voice service (e.g. not a 2nd fax line). The allure was that the 2nd line (with or without a different MTA) was offered at $2 a month discount.

Alas -- Vonage quietly got rid of the discount with no notification to me and awaiting to see if they honor the original deal.

When I added a second line a couple months ago I was offered a $5/month discount on that line. I have not looked to see if I'm still receiving the discount, or how the discount may have been affected by my recent switch to the third-party employee discount plan.

When you say they stopped offering the discount you were getting, was that in response to a change you made, or the recent drop in package prices?

I stand corrected.

Vonage does not appear to be offering the 2nd line discount for new customers.

When I signed up 2 months ago, they were offering a $3 a month discount for a 2nd line.

My recent bill (yesterday) continues to show this discount, though the website makes no mention of its continued availability.
