I ordered the "free" 2nd line today (2 months of free service, no activation fee, no cancellation fee) and asked the CSR if it's possible to port the 2nd line's number to a new account in the future. He said it is possible after doing a search in some old records.
My roommate is going to use the 2nd line, but may eventually want to get his own box. Will there be any issues porting the 2nd line number to a new account?
Thoughts? |

Wouldn't it make more sense to just refer your roomie to a new account, so you start out with your own boxes up front? |

Roomie isn't 100% sure he wants Vonage mainly due to the 1 year committment. I think him getting his own box is what makes sense, but he's just not willing to commit yet.
Nonetheless, I think the free 2nd line is a good deal.
