I have a stutter tone and my blinking router shows I have a voicemail, which I did. After I deleted the voicemail and even cleared the voicemail from my phone like the troubleshooting guide said, I still get the stutter tone when I pick up the phone and the phone jack on the router is still blinking even though I have no voicemail messages...any suggestions??? I already restored defaults and rebooted 20 times. Tech support has no clue...didn't even understand what a stutter tone is even though it is is their guide and I got disconnected three times when trying to reach advance tech support. Ideas??? |

Try deleting the voicemail message from your Trash folder via the online Dashboard if you haven't already. |

I've had this issue happen a few times and it's usually because I hang up and don't disconnect via the "*" key. I have been able to clear this up by recycling the adapter and if you are using the "fix" for the hiss by connecting a dead phone to the second port, be sure to unplug that too. |

Did you delete it from the Trash, though? When you delete from your Inbox it sends the message to your Trash folder. In cases where the stutter tone and blinking light won't go away I've found that deleting the message from the Trash solves the issue. Another option is to leave yourself another voicemail message and then delete that one. Typically it's just a glitch where the system doesn't seem to recognize that the voicemail message was deleted. |

I fixed the stutter tone! Thanks for the help! I had to leave another voicemail message and then delete it by using the phone and making sure to hit the star button upon exiting. Seems to have cleared the que. Thanks again for the suggestion...way faster than tech support! |
