Post subject: Porting Nightmare w/VoiceWing & Level3
Well thanks to this forum I found out that the carrier for VoiceWing is level3. Sat on hold with
Vonage
today for a very long time just to have some idiot check a spread sheet to tell me there has been no change in my porting since January. Recently I submitted the request and told them that Level3 was the carrier and the service is voicewing. But either way, I found a number for Level3 to see if they could tell me anything. Here it is 866-697-5881 then option 1. They are not suppose to take calls from the public, so if you speak nicely you will get them to help. I appologised for calling and explained my problem, I asked them to see if they have received the request - immediately they told me that the number was foc'ed for June 13th - holy crap right!!! And was told that
Vonage
is famous for these porting eternities. Either way people - good luck!!!
