My VT1005 went belly up last night and I decided to replace it with a PAP2 from Staples and then call(and wait, and wait) to have it activated. To my surprise the CSR me that I could activate a replacement online by going to www.vonage.com and clicking on the link labled "Retail Activation". Works like a charm.
