Then I went to call them and realized that my POTS was down. So then I used my cell phone to call them and they said that they were working on the line. I guess that I will just have to go to my POTS user forum and cry about it. Too bad there is not a user forum for my POTS. Guess I am just going to have to deal with it. So what is the diff between dealing with Vonage Outage or POTS Outage? Vonage only costs $30 a month |
I can't believe the ignorance behind the "what's the difference" attitude of this message. The difference is in the last 24 years I've been using POTS service, I had a noticeable service outage a whopping three times, and each due to some sort of catastrophe: flood, major ice storm, and Hurricane Isabel. Vonage has quickly proven itself far less reliable.
Yes, Vonage only costs $30/month. I didn't tell them to drop the price. Personally, I would prefer to still be paying $35/month, maybe even a little bit more, if it meant there was more money available to be directed toward improving service quality, reliability, and features. |

If you want to bash Vonage, then go start your own "Vonage ****" forum where you and only you make the rules. |
I have a dedicated server with virtually unlimited bandwidth, which I'm sure will be required. If someone wants to register something like vonage-****.com, I'll contribute the server space and message board software. PM me. |
Well, apparently Vonage took the liberty of registering vonagesucks.com for themselves. Go figure. Anywho, I think I'll make this happen: Vonage-**** dot something... where ALL opinions are welcome. Stay tuned. |
