Adding a second phone line

I currently have the unlimited plan, and am very happy with the service. I would like to add a second line, and on this line, I will basically be getting incoming calls only, and also don't need features like voicemail or call waiting. Is there any reason that I cannot get the 9.99 fax line, since I will not be making any outgoing calls? Is there a difference in quality between the fax line and a second line at 14.99? Do they know if you are sending faxes or speaking on the phone(and do they care?)

there isn't really a difference in quality, maybe somewhat but it's more so faxes have a better chance of success. you shouldn't be able to notice it.
they could probably find out...search the terms of service if you're worried about using it improperly.
disclaimer: I don't have a fax line, this is just information I've gathered from other posters and vonage.com
