Is someone aware of a paid technical facility\person in India, who can install\repair a vonage connection\modem.
My parents checked with the Cisco\Linksys facility in Delhi, they said they do not sell it in India, hence cannnot do much. |

Why can't you install it yourself. Most Vonage customers do not pay someone to install it for them. Problem Solved. NEXT CALLER PLEASE! |

PROBLEM NOT SOLVED, REAL ADVICE REQUESTED.
To the OP, there is no support of that type that I am aware that Vonage supports, however, the best bet for a defective piece of equipment is for your parents to return it to you, you return to Vonage for a new one, and you reship to India. It seems like a pain, but Vonage won't ship them overseas. As for install support, your standing in the best place I know of. |

Problem not solved if he can't read the instructions ... They don't just ship equipment without any documentation. If he needs to return it why doesn't he just call Vonage support so he knows exactly where to send it? As I said, Problem Solved! NEXT CALLER PLEASE! ... It would also be much easier if he moved to the United States. |

Shipping back to Vonage isn't the issue, the issue is they won't send one back to India. They also want help setting it up. There are a ton of outfits out there that do that stuff and they want to find someone in India to do it for them.
Try reading posts before responding to them. |

Okay ... If they won't ship to India than how did he get it in the first place? |

The tooth fairy dropped it off to them. How the hell do I know? All I can tell you is Vonage sure didn't send it there. Their ToS specifically procludes use outside the U.S. |

if you took the time to read posts, research and garner some limited knowledge, you would find that individuals purchase devices at retail stores in the US/Canada/UK or wherever else and then personally bring them or ship them to family members or friends.
at any rate, it doesn't matter and it's really none of our business.
