While I don't personally have friends or family in Mexico, I've seen MANY Mexican people buying pre-paid calling cards to allow them to call Mexico. It seems to me that if they were to somehow add Mexico to the unlimited calling plan, that would increase the volume of sales. Especially here in California... there is a large Mexican population and broadband is available all over. AT&T has been trying to heavily market these people. Vonage should try to take them on as well. Just my $0.02/worth here. |

The way they add locations to the "free" unlimited calling area is by having a physical presence in the country. They need hardware there to link into the local PSTN system. I don't know what the internet infrastructure is like in Mexico, but based on my travels there I suspect it may not be as extensive as Vonage needs to make it worth a capital investment in the country. |

Vivo en Puerto Rico y no hay presencia de Vonage fisicamente, pero el servicio se ofrece en ofertas de COMPUSA.
Aun no tenemos nuestros "areas codes" 787 y 939 dentro del servicio de VONAGE. Espero que lo incluyan pronto |

"I live in Puerto Rico and Vonage has no physical presence here, but the service is offered in COMPUSA ads.
Furthermore, they don't have our area codes - 787 and 939 - included in Vonage service. I hope they include them soon." |

I usually call random numbers I find in puerto rican phone directories to test out puerto rico calling. For some reason noone seems to speak english and I cannot understand what they are saying though. Connection is pretty good though  |
